Wanderforum ist not an Alpine Club and not a tourist office, but my private website! I like hiking and enjoy the nature and therefore I founded this group in summer 2004 for all people, who are close to nature, preferring to hike slowly (!), want to have fun without stress and competition. If you like to join our group, you should understand and accept:

We are
international, speak German and English and a mix of both (as you can
see, my English is not perfect ;-).
- The age of people who hike with Wanderforum is about 30 – 55, children are very welcome, friendly dogs as well.
- I am not a hiking guide! I do this as a hobby, I cannot organize my hikes in my job, I do it in my leisure and offer you this service for free. So please be flexible. If you are looking for a perfect from A – Z organized hike, please book in an tourist agency.
- Participation on the hike is free. Of course you pay all your personal things, like tickets, drinks, picknick…by yourself!!! Please bring all things you need or could need. It is impossible to me, to give every week things like suncream, medicine, food, band-aid, tea, sanitary article, …..for free. I have to buy and to pay for all this as well!! Of course I will help you, if you need something, but I expect that you give as reward some francs for Wanderforum cash.
- Normally we start and finish our hikes with a coffee in a restaurant, have picknick at lunchtime, it is unusual to eat in a guesthouse, only in winter we will do this. Therefore please bring food an drinks.
- Hiking boots are obligatory!
- I prefer hikes away from the tourist areas.
- To register for a hike, please go to www.wanderforum.ch and use the Kontaktformular. If you are on Facebook, there you can find all my hikes as a public event. Some hikes I also write on www.glocals.com.
- I am not responsible for your safety, insurance and so on. You hike at your own risk!!!
On Wanderforum website you will find photos and feedbacks of our hikes. I am looking forward to meet you soon :-)
